Principles of Invincibility

Modern science gives us many examples that show that Natural Law has a great variety of means to strengthen a system to such a degree that its integrity remains virtually unaffected by external influences that act upon it—in these cases the system displays characteristics of invincibility. The book ‘Maharishi’s Absolute Theory of Defence’ contains numerous examples of these principles of invincibility. The following two boxes give two characteristic examples.

Meissner Effect An Example of Invincibility in the Quantum Physics of Superconductivity ORDINARY CONDUCTOR In an ordinary electrical conductor, incoherent, disordered electrons allow penetration by an external magnetic field. SUPERCONDUCTOR In a superconductor, coherent collective functioning of the electrons spontaneously excludes an external magnetic field, and maintains its impenetrable status. This example of invincibility beautifully demonstrates the general principle of how inner coherent collective functioning of a system results in the ability to defend against external disturbing influences.

Invincibility of a Baryon against Strongest External Forces A baryon, like a proton, cannot be fragmented into its constituents, the quarks. Even if the strongest forces are applied the final result will be, again, a baryon as before, plus possible additional particles of high energy physics. Instead of breaking into parts, the baryon reacts with creativity—one or several additional particles are created. This property of invincibility of a baryon is essentially based on the infinitely self-interacting and quantum-mechanical dynamics of the gluon field that connects the quarks within the baryon.

The overall conclusion of all these principles of invincibility is that it is the access to the fundamental, holistic level of nature’s functioning, the level of the total potential of Natural Law, and the enlivenment of the holistic qualities at this level, that creates harmony and order, and establishes the integrity and stability of a system, making it invincible so that it is able to defend itself effectively against negative, harmful influences.
