Global Maharishi Effect

Research studies have also repeatedly confirmed the Maharishi Effect on a global scale. For example, during assemblies of ten days to three weeks in which the number of TM-Sidhi Programme Yogic Flyers approached or exceeded the square root of one per cent of the world's population—about 7000 people—global social trends improved immediately, including improved international relations as measured by reduced international conflict; and reduced incidence of terrorism (36)*. During the periods of three assemblies approaching or exceeding 7000 experts in the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme (the square root of one per cent of the world's population), there was a significant decrease in international conflict worldwide. Reference: (36).
